Before you book

A few common questions.

What's the closest beach to Punta Ox Ha?

Playa La Punta is the southern end of Playa Zicatela, a five-minute walk from the front gate. The break is one of the most consistent surf spots in Mexico and runs year-round.

When's the best time to visit Puerto Escondido?

Surf and weather are great almost any month. November to April is the dry, sunny stretch most travelers prefer. May to October brings warm rain, fewer crowds, and bigger swell. La Punta is friendliest in the smaller, cleaner months from November to February.

How do I get to La Punta from the Puerto Escondido airport?

Puerto Escondido International (PXM) is about 25 minutes by taxi or shuttle. We can arrange a pickup if you tell us your flight, or you can grab an authorized airport taxi at the curb. We'll send check-in instructions and a map a few days before you arrive.

Do you take long-term stays?

Yes. We host stays from a few nights up to several months. Long-term and monthly rates available on request. Email us with your dates and we'll send a quote.

Can I rent the whole property?

Yes. All six suites can be booked together for groups, retreats, family trips, or surf camps. Reach out and we'll quote your dates.

Is the Wi-Fi actually fast enough to work remotely?

Yes. Every suite is on Starlink. Calls, uploads, video edits, all handled. We've hosted remote workers from US tech companies and creative studios on long stays.

Why book direct instead of through Airbnb or Booking.com?

Better rates than the OTAs (no platform fee), direct communication with us before you arrive, and flexibility on length-of-stay, group sizes, and check-in windows.
